Children 8-9 years of age can learn to scuba dive as they go on exciting “Aqua Missions” and complete scavenger hunts, underwater obstacle courses, and fun simulated dives. Children and parents can decide if they want to pursue the basic Seal Team Membership by competing Aqua Missions 1-5 or continue on and earn their Master Seal Team Member rating by completing Aqua Missions 6-15. Max depth limits are 9ft in a pool throughout the course.

3-4 Hour Pool Experience

Mirroring the adult Open Water Certification course, children 10-14 years old can achieve a Junior Open Water Certification. The skills and depth limits are 40ft for 10-11 yr and 60ft for 12-14 yr. Once they reach 15 years old they can be upgraded without any additional requirements to an Open Water diver and receive a new certification card!
